Khajjiar -- Peaceful Cousin of Dalhousie

Khajjiar is Peaceful cousin of Dalhousie. Instead of staying in Dalhousie we picked Hotel Devdar to stay at Khajjiar instead. Khajjiar is a valley just outside Dalhousie and is treated as a picnic point from Dalhousie. However , staying at Khajjiar is altogether a different experience. Of the things we like the most are :

1. Clear night sky
2. Beautiful Landscape
3. Absolute peace

Drive to Khajjiar from Dalhousie is a beautiful one

Harihareshwar

Harihareshwar -- A relaxing weekend getaway from Mumbai , offer perfect place to relax. However , you may find it difficult to find food which suits your taste.

Harihareshwar Beach

First view of HARIHARESHWAR beach. Beach is known to be dangerous , contains lot of mud along with sand. However , the water is very clean.

Preparation for the TREK

Well, tomorrow we will start our journey from Delhi. Destination includes Badrinath and Valley of flowers. Total number of days would be approximately 5 + 1. We are trying to finish it off in 5 days and in case things does not go our ways we will extend it by 1 more day.

We are having Canon S5IS camera. Camera gear includes 8 + 4 rechargeble batteries with a charger. 11 gb of space ( SD Cards ) . Tripod and 4 alkaline batteries. I guess this would be enough for the trip.

Got a big bag for the trip ( Water proof ) and easy to carry ( backpack ). A pair of woodland shoes. Carrying heavy woolens with us too.

Butterfly

One of my best pics till date. Pic is taken in the gardens of tughlakhabad fort. Butterfly is busy having food , all the details of the event is captured in full focus and rest all things are out of focus giving image a very beautiful look.

One More Try at Thunderstorm

I have tried to take one more Picture of ThunderStorm. This time it is better than before.



There is heavy rains and thunderstorm in Delhi , which is unusual at this time in delhi. Even last monsoon also it has not rained like this.

I have tendency to blame this on Global Warming. :-)
